Girls' Boarding House

Girl boarders from the age of 7 to 13 are cared for by their House Parents, Mr and Mrs Searle in our purpose built Adler Dormitory block.  Mr Searle, who is Head of Boarding, also teaches History and coaches the 1st XV amongst other Games.  As a member of the non-teaching staff, Mrs Searle devotes all her time to the welfare of the girls in the house.

The Dorm has four spacious bedrooms, each of which is sub-divided into smaller, cosier areas that allow the girls a feeling of personal space whilst benefiting from the camaraderie boarding provides.  Girls sleep in a room with others of a similar age.  There is a spacious communal sitting room with large screen television, DVD and music system.

The girls also benefit from a designated work room with computer access, work stations and electronic piano.
