Activities

Our extensive activities programme takes place during the school day on a Thursday afternoon from 3.30p.m. until 4.30 p.m. The pupils are given the opportunity to choose activities on a termly basis. The activities are run by qualified coaches both on and off the site and by our own teaching staff. The range of activities on offer increases as the pupils progress through the school adding that extra dimension to school life. Each term pupils in one of the senior year groups produce a play and rehearsals take place during activities.

We aim to offer a wide variety of activities in order to cater for each pupil’s interests. These include:

Climbing, scuba diving, golf, archery, judo, fencing, football, photography, riding, sewing, art and craft, calligraphy, tennis, school newspaper, dance, rocket building and games workshop.

There are also opportunities for the children to participate in chess, ballet, jazz dance and sewing at lunchtimes. Hobbies are organized for boarders on a Wednesday and Friday evening.
