At Ranby House there are over 250 individual music lessons each week, taught by our team of 12 specialist peripatetic musicians. 

A full range of instruments is offered, and pupils are prepared for Associated Board and Rock School Examinations. Each term there is a series of Informal Concerts which provides the pupils with a chance to perform to a ‘friendly’ audience.

Many of our past pupils have successfully gained Music Scholarships to Worksop College, Oundle and Repton.

Past and present pupils have gained places in the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
