Music

'Music for All' is the Music Department's motto.

'Music For All' is our department's motto and all pupils are encouraged to participate fully, whether it be in the annual Group Singing Competition or in one of the numerous ensembles that happen weekly.

The children contribute to various major and informal concerts, whether as soloists or playing in one of the many school ensembles which rehearse weekly. Each year there is an Individual Music Festival in which all pupils who learn an instrument are encouraged to participate and where the final is judged by a visiting musician.

Workshops are organised for the pupils.  This year, pupils from Year 4 will participate in a 'Junk Music' percussion morning and the whole school will be involved in a Brass Workshop. 

The school has a flourishing Chapel Choir which leads the school in its weekly Chapel services as well as other major services. The Choir also participates in Worksop College’s annual Prep Schools' Choral Day.
