We believe that the Ranby House Pre-Prep uniform is a distinguishing factor in our provision, and so uniform is worn right from the age of 3 in our Nursery.  We have, of course, tried to ensure that the uniform is practical for play as well as work, and to this end all shirts / blouses are short-sleeved to allow for messy activities, and all uniform items are washable (nor do the dresses require ironing, if shaken and hung to dry!)

The boys wear grey trousers (shorts in summer), the Ranby House blue and white checked shirt and an elasticated tie, with a navy jumper.  In Year 2 boys are encouraged to wear a full tie, to allow them time to get used to it ready for transfer to Main School at Year 3.

The girls wear a Gordon Tartan pinafore with blue piped blouse in winter, with navy jumper and navy socks or tights, and a Gordon Tartan cotton dress in summer with white socks. 

For P.E. all pupils wear a white polo shirt, navy shorts, navy jogging bottoms and the Ranby House sweatshirt.
