'As first timers to boarding schools we didn’t really know what to expect but from the moment we drove into the grounds we knew we had found something special about Ranby House School.  

 

There is always a friendly welcome from everyone and nothing is ever too much trouble. 

 

Our twin boys have thoroughly enjoyed their time at Ranby House School and have relished the opportunities that have been presented to them. 

 

Whilst they have been encouraged and stretched in their school work there are lots of extra curricular activities and hobbies on offer to provide a balanced education that broadens their horizons. 

 

The boarding community and pastoral care that Ranby House School provides has been outstanding and gives our children a home from home atmosphere whilst they are away at school. 

 

They have supported my family excellently whilst I have deployed on numerous tours and the staff fully understand the extra needs of service children. 

 

The trips and activities that are organised for the boarders at weekends are extensive and enjoyed by our sons.   

 

Our boys enjoy Ranby House School so much that they only come home when the school closes and they really have too!  We see the school as an extension of our family. '

'Sending your Children to a Boarding School is, arguably, one of the most difficult decisions any Parent can make: Ranby House made it very easy; almost natural.   

 

A fantastic School whose ethos and culture has been instrumental in developing our two children during their time as Ranby House boarders. 

 

Their progress in Sport, Academics and Social development has been everything we could have wished for.

 

The House Parents are second to none and provide the level of care, understanding and support you would want from those charged with playing the part of Mum and Dad, during Term time. 

 

No matter, however trivial, it is never too much trouble and the communication between the House Parents, Teachers and ourselves has been far and above any previous schooling experience.

Ranby House School has a warm and friendly atmosphere and the quality of teaching is second to none with an extremely committed staff team.

 

Our children have benefited from the stability of belonging to the school community while enduring many house moves due to Military postings. They have made firm friendships at Ranby that they have been able to maintain throughout their school days and all three were able to settle into the school with ease thanks to the friendly and approachable staff in the Boarding Houses.

 

The boarding facilities are excellent and the children have enjoyed fantastic opportunities;  in the classroom, through participating in sports and through the many organised activities.

 

The needs of Military families are fully understood and the process of utilising the Boarding School Allowance is made easy.
