Years 1-4

In Years 1-4 pupils enjoy one lesson per week from the “La Jolie Ronde” course, which concentrates on promoting the child’s spoken skills and knowledge through songs, games and conversation. Confidence grows swiftly through familiarity and repetition, which is often seen in greetings in French around the school.

Each class prepares a presentation of its year’s work for the parents at the end of the year, and progress can clearly be seen in the increasing complexity of the material on show.
